When I turn my ignition key to position 3 before turning the engine on, I get this series of chirrups, clicks and squeaks that seem to come from the passenger footwell. I figured this might be the DVD sat nav reading the disk in the DVD player as it sounds a bit PC-like but it's pretty strange nonetheless.
Nothing has fallen off the car (yet) so I've ignored by cranking up the stereo. Anyone any idea what it is????
btw - I've started getting the Low Coolant warning and it looked full when cold. Thus, I put a dribble of antifreeze and water in and it seems to have stopped. Will keep you posted. Java TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and a few other fancy bits

Yup, that'll be the SatNav DVD, it sits there whirling away by it self. Program in a destination a good few hundred miles away and it goes into overdrive  The End

What would happen if I put Lord of The Rings DVD in the DVD player under the seat? Presumably, as it's DVD Rom, nothing but it would be nice if it were a short cut to in car DVD....... Java TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and a few other fancy bits

Not that I have looked into it ( and it is probably a silly Q) but what is the electrical looking box under the drivers seat on a S.
Is it the stereo amplifier? Zermatt silver 06 reg.
