Transmission - Up and down switch input circuit
The “manual” / sport selection on my autobox is not functioning. (Everything else regarding autobox is ok)
I see nothing in the main display when the lever is put in the +/- position. And the gearbox does not respond when shifting + or - (it actually does respond, but only with a “ping” and error
IID reads code:
Transmission
P0826-00 (2C) Up and down switch input circuit
Is that “just” switch in the electronics / print in the plastic surrounds at the gear lever?
Or a switch On the actual autogearbox?Best regards
Harold

Inside where?
Yes it lit up (more red than orange as do all the PRND)
Just nothing like “sport“ on the main display and Shifting +. & - Does nothing..
It looks like it really is what is says, the Up and down switch has no good signal/function, but where is it located?Best regards

The one on the side of the gearbox is solely gear position. Although I suppose it may not position correctly.
My guess would be the connector or switch under the gear lever not recognising the position of the lever.
