05 discovery hse harman/kardon amp
I’ve been having a problem with no sound on my radio CD player I’ve tried hard reset and several other things that you guys Have posted with no luck. So now I’m thinking it must be time to change the amp. It’s a premium 1 karman/ kardon logic7. Does anyone know where I may purchase a second hand one, and does all the numbers on the two lines at the bottom of the label have to be the same.
Many thank for any info

Being nosey I had a look inside and what’s in there loads of dead ants. This time of year in france they are everywhere, pick up a rock and there will be an ant nest underneath. There called fire ants because they get into switches in the house all dying I guess by electrocution eventually filling up the switch and short circuiting sometimes setting the house on fire. Well I won’t bang on any longer, brushed it out and put back in the car, still didn’t work. I hate ants

Well Mikey never got back to me so does anyone have a logic 7 amp for sale for an 05 hse auto.
Perhaps someone could point me in the right direction to buy one at a reasonable price. Also is there much difference when they Have 1 or 2 stamped on them.
Many thanks for any help.

Number 2 is NOT the logic7 but the Standard hi-line (in fact, it is a mid-line so to speak)Best regards

testing:
-IID can give a clue, but not always definitive, although if there is a other reason it is not functioning, like broken wires in the car , you can see it on the IID
-just plug in and listen?
note:
i did have a problem, with certain channels not working.. plugged in IID, and yes!! exactly those channels had a problem diagnosed...
removed the door cards... and.... from 2 speakers, the magnets were broken off and somewere IN the door at the bottom.. "New" speakers...... still no sound from them... hmmmm "new"/other amp... YES!! sound! plugged in IID, cleared agian all faults.... short drive... plugged in IID, and..... STILL same errors, although every thing is working and sounding fine now!
so... testing... just plug in and listen... works at least conclusiveBest regards

If you have a LR and maintaining it yourself? (Or even if not) it saves you a lot of money in the end
Although not cheap to buy.... after that it will bring money back, and after a few years of ownership, you still will fetch good money for it...Best regards
