Hi all,
GS radio (CD400) CD is not working, so I purchased a Blaupunk Palma 190 BT double din, fitted perfectly, but wouldn't switch on, checked fuse (OK), checked power in 12v from yellow and black, sent it back and the seller asked if I had both memory and power to the radio, checked connection from the Disco, only getting a permanent feed from yellow and black, I presumed that the ACC (red) would have power to the connector when the key was switched on, but alas not, I don't want a permanent feed to the ACC, I expected a switched feed from the radio loom, or am I wrong, thanks. Discovery 3 SE gone but not forgotten.

Thought so, next challenge getting to the back of the cig lighter, with the radio and climate control out it looks pretty tight, mine is a manual, can you take them toward the gear stick, if so do you have to take the gear stick surround off, thanks in advance. Discovery 3 SE gone but not forgotten.

Took a feed from the fuse block behind the lower glove box with a piggy back fuse and wire from there to the radio (ACC), again thanks to the forum. Discovery 3 SE gone but not forgotten.
