Another use for D4 space savers
I have recently been looking for a set of wheels for my work van (2007 VW transporter) and decided on a set of new landrover D4 space savers with 4"(now 9.5" wide) welded into them 8)
Cost a fortune but they are a bit different, next job is to get them sprayed silver to break the black up a bit Previous Discos

😳 we used to weld out steel rims back in the day, Capris, Minis, Escorts, Marinas we’re all a hit with small wide rims. Not so clever on the frequent unplanned ‘off road’ excursions when they tended to fly apart but that maybe says more about our welding than anything else.
