Thanks for the help Pwheeldon.
I now have a new fridge having used a 2015 range rover one that came out of a pranged car. It is EXACTLY the same in terms of the electronics with the slight exception of a slightly bigger heat sink spreader than the earlier WAECO badged ones (I know they the same company now).
Anyway thanks for the help and I will raise a cold beer next week when it gets used on holiday.....
not while driving of course.... I might spill it.

That is good news - so to confirm, the 2015 RR one will work in the D4? Is that a RR sport of FF RR?

Hi Dave, not sure of the model it was from. It was just the one from the link. It came from Kent 4x4 breakers and from the condition of the inside and fan it had never been used with a 2015 Dometic sticker.
Might be worth checking in with them, the chap I spoke to was really friendly and 'on it'.
I know my LR dealer was struggling to get one for another customer under a warranty claim. And when they gave me the price too  Anyway, good luck....you will get one... you may just have wait and then of course 3 will turn up. I had exactly this with the sliding floor.
