Hi All
Eventually have a Gap tool, activated it, fitted steering wheel controls, (my Disco is 2008 GS didn't come with controls), in to CCF and it tells me no controls fitted, in I/O (if this the right place) but can't find how to activate to allow cruse controls, all help appreciated.

Problem solved
I've found these isntructions on the GAP site:
IIDTool Menu->Car Config->Instrument Pack->
* Steering wheel control set to Resistive ladder 1
* Speed Control set to Fitted
I now have cruise control  Discovery 3 SE gone but not forgotten.
