Alde caravan water heater help advise please

Hi guys hope you can advise

In my touring caravan I’ve got a alde comfort 2928 wet boiler, I’ve rebuilt the boiler body with stainless steel for the water jacket and burner box

On the back of the boiler is a 12 ltr water tank for hot water. A bit like a Divers bottle size With a curved heat exchanger that uses the boilers water to transfer the heat via the 2 pipes out the back of the boiler

I stripped it down also and found the heat exchanger was rusted solid in side So no water could pass through it
I made a new one but noticed that the old exchanger had a paste/compound between the water tank body and the exchanger face.

My question is does anyone know where I can get this compound from as I’m guessing it’s for transferring the heat through and I need a fair bit not just a cup full
Many thanks and sorry for the long winded explanation

This is a photo of a water tank and the old exchanger

I am due to go away on the 21st and would like to sort this out

I use heat transfer paste also known as heatsink compound when mounting electrical components to a heatsink, I only use small toothpaste sized tubes of it, should think you might be able to get it in larger tins.

Try RS components

Also, it does spread well, a little goes a long way.

To be honest I really can't say, have you tried contacting Alde uk?.
Would be a shame to use the wrong compound after all the effort you've gone to and get it wrong.

I'm pretty sure the latest Alde systems work the same way so must use paste.

It’s just standard heat sink paste, a tube of Regin will be enough.

Just waiting for this compound to arrive and I can get the water tank And heat exchanger back in place, I’ve also wired up a water pump from the Webasto heater to draw the water into the heat exchanger instead of relying on the hot water rising and causing a flow
Fingers crossed 🤞
The main boiler jacket seems to be repaired now as I have had it full for over a week now and no lose of coolant
