Sat Nav screen problems
Hello all
The lower half of my Sat Nav screen sometimes flickers, but it can also be at a different brightness then the upper half and can also go bright white (but touch still works if you know where to press it)
Is this a screen issues or control module ?
Any help appreciated
As always thanks

What is really want is, and as I don’t use the Nav is to get the screen replaced with something that does Apple car play and has a decent Bluetooth in it, I can by pass the radio by having it connected to the aux in the rear.
Don’t want to spend thousands but would stretch to a couple of hundred of quid and fit it myself (hopefully something sourced from the uk not taking the risk of buying from China.)
Saw this and I’d love it but I don’t trust these Chinese sites and would it even work when it got here ?

See my thread on my Android unit, came from China (although shipped from Singapore). Not sure why that's a problem as all our electronics come from there anyway .

Thanks Scwede
I like the look of that. Would only add Apple car play
And just plug it into the Aux jack with a right angled connector
As long as it has:
Apple car play (optional)
Bluetooth for calls
Bluetooth for music streaming
DAB (optional antenna)
Shame it can’t display the Land Rover stuff via an input but I only have Nav and never use it, don’t have 4x4 screen so won’t miss it
I am always nervous about using Chinese sites a friend brought a electric car jack for £40 and got not only one but two empty boxes, but I suppose if I use a credit card there’s additional protection.
Sound like a fairly simple install which I have no problem with
It’s technically the wife’s car so I’ll run it past her, we’ve been struggling to get a decent Bluetooth system for her iPhone, she not too good with tech so it needs to start and connect without any interaction (other than plugging in the phone) once car play is running she knows her way round that from previous cars I’ve had.
And it can be reverted back to standard if needed
