United Kingdom 2008 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3
Prestone Brake Fluid at Euro Car Parts

Currently showing at £2.69 for the 355ml container.
I think these are usually much dearer and even on Ebay, ECP have it listed at £9.10.
I've reserved 4 for collection later today.
Handy size so stay sealed until needed.

Item code. 550770040

Not sure that's Class 6 (ESP) fluid but handy size to have in the car in case of emergency.

Always the way , thks for the link, Thumbs Up

Alas just bought 2 x litres as was worried of it sitting in the shed for ages , bought 5 x litres last time and hasn’t been touched for well over a year and I was worried about any water ingress so bought new

My brake hoses were replaced yesterday and had all the fluid changed at the same time , they used just over a litre

Ps, hope this finds u well mate

Yes lot of people worry about the stored fluid absorbing water, but the reality is most garages wont be quite so fussy!
Lucklily I have a few cars, and change the fluid quite often normally at mot time, which has just made me check to find the defender has run out of mot!

Gary yes i am okay, glad you are to Thumbs Up

Thks mate , only just starting to get back on my feet Thumbs Up

Funny enough I double checked the last brake fluid I bought and was class 4 Whistle

The brakes feel a lot better after getting the class 6 done and wasn’t aware then of the class 4 , I think personally I had water in the brake system or maybe the old brake hoses were swelling ,

It’s a garage that my dad has used for years , where he’s more than happy that if I get all the bits he’ll fit them

Only thing I need to get done is my ATF oil change as the garage won’t touch auto boxes

Stay safe and well mate
