Change odometer from miles to kilometers
I just bought a Discovery 3 4.4 V8 HSE. 10 years ago it was imported from the US (so actually LR3).
Thinking about buying the IIDTool.
Does anybody know if I can change the odometer from miles to kilometers with this IDDTool? So not just the trip counter...

I'm pretty sure there have been a couple of posts about people importing cars into the UK and the odometers in KM's and they were unable to change these to miles.
So I guess it is not possible.

when i set my trip meter units to kmh/litresper100km , everything in the display follows that. total vehicle "mileage" shows kilometres..

Ah, I read the OP as wanting to change the odometer, not the display Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector

oh ... the actual analogue dial ? no then. unless tippexe will do ?
can the display be split and an overlay stuck in place ?

No, I actually mean the 'total mileage' display. After using the settings menu for the display, I can change the trip to KM, but 'total' display remains miles.
Wanted to know if this can be changed with the IISTool
here's mine ... but it is a D4. maybe it changed ?

it should be possible. you need to buy 2nd hand central display unit from a breaker on the continent. In a 2nd step you would need to program the ECU.
But, I never met someone who had done it.Achim
