folding mirrors missing on 2013 SE
I have just bought a 2013 Discovery 4 SE and was rather disappointed to find that the mirrors don't fold and now have been told that they are not SE mirrors.
It is a bit too late to ask Land Rover to replace them, but I do need them to get into my(narrow) garage easily.
Is there any way to add the motors to the existing mirrors, or do I have replace both the mirrors?

Me too, particularly on the SE models.
Do you think Land Rover will come to the party on this?

South Africa SE spec may not be as UK .
New mirrors required I would suspect . Have a look to see if there is any wiring to power the mirrors

Think you might be able to see if you take of the top tweeter on the door - this is separate to the door card - it will be a bit of a fiddle but you should be able to get to the mirroro loom and unclip it from the door - then chech what witing is into the loomMust stop buying shiny toys....

I can confirm that the D3 SA specs were different to the GB specs, so I'd imagine that the D4s were the same.
Most of the defrost/seat heater stuff was missing and things like the rear aircon were standard.
I am not sure why things like the power-fold mirrors, etc. were different between the specs but it's JLR so I am not surprised!!2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)

You press the two outer buttons together at the same time to fold the mirrors in, looks like this wasn't part of the spec for an SE in SA 2014 D4 XS

I tried that without action, but other SEs do have folding mirrors. looks like I was singled out for special treatment.
Do you think there is a way to get them to fold, apart from swapping out for another car?
True Hardware, but it doesn't mention remote adjusting the mirrors, so i suspect that is not a full spec. the dealer told me that they SHOULD fold

Powerfold is doable but in depth. New mirrors, switch and potentially wiring.012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)
