Spot Lights
Looking to fit 2 60w Raptor spot lights to my 2015 D4. Does anyone know the colour of the high beam wire at the light cluster so that I can use it as the relay switching/trigger wire.

If it helps, on D3 it’s LH blue with slate trace, RH blue with black trace, seem to remember they kept it the same for the D4 but check with a meter across first 2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

It will depend on what type of headlights you have I think. Halogen wiring is different to xenon

I will have a look as I have done this with a twist, instead of extra spot lamps I have taken the fog lamps out, fitted spot type reflectors and fan cooled HP LEDs, I can see where I’m going at night now It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Unless it is foggy . But sounds an interesting mod.

I haven’t needed fog lights for 15 years or more! - days have gone since we had “pea soupers” and the wife to be had to walk in front and I’m not joking. I do need good long range headlights like on the D3 almost every day on country roads without street lights. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,

I was hesitant to reply as I could not get a good view of mine without taking the headlights out, but what I could see was the same colours as above, I just assumed they would be the same colour on both sides. It can when others can't,

Its about 2 years ago since I fitted them, the only info I've got is the empty box and the fact they came via Ebay.
If you are thinking of doing the mod the fan on the back must be slim or it will foul the washer reservoir on the near side.
