They always seem to fail where the seat folds in the base, simply solder a very flexible copper wire over the burnt failed wire, make sure it is long enough to easily go over the fold.
The break is easy to find as it will be burnt It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

heat pad
bloody sods law just finished my drivers seat refurbish, the heat pad cost me £100 all but a few pence but still i got lucky with a foam base on ebay for £20 that is cheep cheep as the birds say
as the man said be careful as there is a difference between fabric and leather ,i thought there were no heated seats in fabric as to the greater fire risk.
i did ask on the forum has anyone got one.
