Anyone had an issue withe the oil level raising

I have what seems to be an issue with the oil level raising.
2.7 diesel no dpf on an 05 plate and the oil seems up on the stick .
I had this issue over Christmas with the wife's audi which tuned out to be a leaking injector seal .
However now the d3 is doing it as well and I'm stumped as the injector doesn't seem to pass through the rocker cover
So no dpf and injector not able to leak past the seals into the oil only thing I can think is a dripping injector but again no smoke or diesel knock on starting .
Only other thing is that Mrs has been using it for a month doing short hops without really warming the disco up I'm wondering if this is the problem.
Is this an issue on the d3 has anyone else had this problem
Regards Baz

What you need to do is drain the oil off and see if you can see or smell diesel or something else in the oil, it could be a few things, even the fuel cooled oil cooler in the V of the engine.

Hi Mick
Ah OK so we have a fuel cooler thar uses the oil to cool it do we .
I had an issue with the fuel cooler on an old disco 2 I had .
I assume its under the intake in the v .
This would make some sense if it can find its way from the oil cooler to the fuel .

Mick is it the one that's part of the oil filter housing or the fuel cooler that looks like a sandwich block .
