Hi there, is putting the epb into service mode with the gap tool the same as the push pedal three times and then working the park brake switch?
If so I assume you still remove the fuse, and then replace and reset with the tool when the service work is complete?

In short 'yes' and 'yes' (having just completed this during lockdown).
Put it into service mode (you will hear the EPB 'back-off' further than for one or two seconds). Remove the fuse, complete the work and then re-insert the fuse and exit the service mode.
Don't forget the bedding-in procedure once you are back on the road
If you are unsure search for Bodsy's Brake Bible (it really is)
Good luck. "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"
