Disco 4 3.0 2016 induction woes
Hi, so anyone want to join me in a journey?
3.0 Gen 2 goes in to limo with the following codes....
P004D Turbocharger / Supercharger Boost Control (Solenoid B) Circuit High
P004B - 77 Turbocharger / Supercharger Boost Control (Solenoid B) Command position not reached
P00BF-07 Mass or Volume Air Flow B Circuit Range/Performance - Air Flow Too High
Checked the inlet valve, later type with a new actuator in it, checked the shut off valve, all the boost vacum pipes are ok, smoked tested inlet and found no leaks, swapped control solenoids and map sensors.
The only thing is the map sensor connected to the secondary turbo reads 0, swapped it still reads 0, check the supply and grounds, 5.02v and 0.15 (but it’s trough ecu) so ok and the Vout is continuous from sensor to ecu, although it appears to take its Vcc from the same line as the left/primary turbos actuator. Back probed with ign on I can make the Vcc fluctuate with a bit of positive/negative pressure, just reads 0.00Kpa engine off or at idle.
When I compare this to another both map sensors read 0.99Kpa, so.....
Before I play pick a turbo any turbo, anyone want to wade in?

I thought mine, built in 2016 was part of the final production run.
What please is the VIN ?

I've had no hot water or heating for 18 out of the last 24 hours It's surprising hot cold it gets!
All fixed now, a corroded pipe & bu***ered O rings in the boiler caused leaks.

Fine looking diagnostic tool you have there. Maybe give them a call with the codes.
Failing that, you could look at getting one of these to test the electronic actuator in situ.

So... that is a lovely actuator test tool, side note I wonder where I could have a demo of one...
However the pain continues... even with a shiny new primary turbo!
Wiring to the secondary map good, 5v supply, 1.40 +\- signal back to ecu still not reading ign on eng off or driving, as it’s a Gen 2.0 it’s a different wiring to the Gen 1, mainly from what I can see the power comes of the primary turbo, but ground and signal go to ecu, so the data still is as pics...
Working donor (for values)...
Our broken one...
Just looking for confirmation of these values on a 3.0 Gen 2 anyone else with ignition on and engine off have a zero reading, instead of what I think should be there ie .98 or atmospheric?

Just to say thanks to anyone who reads this post and to those who contributed.
Vehicle now fixed, engine loom was at fault for primary turbo and a blocked dpf.

Which wires were at fault ? Have you got any pictures ?
