It looks as if they are leaving that sector; but the words "directly to customers" may be relevant.

I’ve just had a claim paid by them a few days ago.
Seems a shame if they are stopping.
I wonder if they will accept renewals

I believe that they had some issues with a GAP underwriter going bust earlier this year. It looks like they may have bigger issues.
