I'm interested - anyone offer any opinions on the difficulty of fitting such?

I think the answer is easy but I suspect someone who has already done the job will confirm or deny that soon

The fitting instructions from the LR site are a mere couple of pages, but with the usual curious hieroglyphics and lack of verbiage, I'd welcome the comments borne of experience. For example, the last picture either indicates one shouldn't leave a load on the roof bars/rails for 8 hours or that one shouldn't load it for 8 hours after or perhaps one needs to load it for at least 8 hours. Go figure.
After all, following the side step fitting instructions and taking it carefully, the offside one took me 2 hours. Knowing what to do resulted in the nearside one taking about 45 minutes. And yes, I'm not a natural mechanic... Rolling Eyes

Roof rails, easy. All you need is a hammer drill, club hammer, cold chisel and gin (for Dutch courage).....and some sticky backed plastic.

I'm bidding on these (and his rear mat).

I think (!) that the rail fitting is a fairly simple job. If I recall from a very early post many months ago, it's a simple matter of prising out the existing trim, then cutting this trim down to length and bolting the rails on with 2 screws

Embarassed sorry KL, didn't realise you'd changed your Disco3 username, just assumed it was another member with same initials. Wink

Didn't see your post. I thought I was first in there as there were no bids!

I've only bid a low amount - from your other post I guess you will be bidding higher than me.
