Hi,
A couple of years ago, all 6 glow plugs on my Disco 3 2006 failed. I manage to replace 5 of them, but one snapped (cylinder 5). I left it like that and since then just don't bother. Car starts normally, even when is cold. But just wanted to raise these questions:
Do I have to go and try to replace that snapped one - drilling, etc.
And if not, is it likely to have misfire when start the car? Cause I don't feel it. IID tool doesn't report any related errors, hence I think it should be fine like that.
Thanks,
Tiho Thanks,
Tiho

Every so often give it a squirt of WD40 and eventually you will be able to get it out

It has snapped off so it can only be drilled.
Yes it may misfire for a few seconds when very cold, but only experienced ears will detect it, forget about it unless you are thinking of going skiing It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
