I have bought a carpet shampoo machine, and am cleaning carpets - so exciting!
Lots of black dirty water, so clearly they needed doing.

Thought you had a dog... isn't this a fruitless endeavour?

You are, of course, correct Steve.
The dog is the root of the problem, but I can't train him to shampoo carpets.

Gerald the gorilla: Well, I suppose you'd expect me to say I spend all my money on peanuts, bananas and carpet cleaner (laughs). No, but I do spend about 95% of it on that. The rest I spend on little luxuries. I'm very keen on Johnny Mathis, for example. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
