Always remember, when entering water, windows all the way down, seatbelts off and if you have a sunroof, open it. I've seen many people driving deep water with windows up and belted. It's not clever.

And get very worried when you see “vehicle raiding to extended height”, or similar. That’s the car starting to float and putting it’s feet down. Been there, done that.

I was thinking about fitting a snorkel, but even that wouldn’t help here...
The off road capability of the Discovery surprised me, but there’s no chance I’d risk that.
