2010 iPod module location
Does any one know where the iPod module is located please?
Is it behind the dash/glove box?
Many thanks. Steve. You remind me of a younger me, not much younger mind...perhaps even a little older!

Is this it? Does that suggest it’s under the seat or the carpet?

Think it’s faulty as my bovee won’t connect. The usb still works but even my old iPod stopped working, so assuming it’s the module.

It is the unit under the seat, I've had it all apart and all the cables look good so im taking a chance and have ordered a second hand unit off ebay for 25 quid.
Heres hoping it works as a new one is 800 quid, needless to say I won't be buying a new one.

Changed it this morning and no difference.
Does any one have a genuine cable knocking about? The one from the socket to the iPod? Im not sure mine is a real one. It tests out ok with a meter.
Don't want to throw much more time and money at this by buying random parts that don't need to be changed.
Any ideas guys?

Its just not seeing anything there.
I don't know what part is wrong, it could be the head unit but starting with the cheaper stuff.
If i can get the cable working then i know the bluetooth will or won't work. Used to work with my old iPhone.
Don't mind having the iPhone in the car constantly, used as a hard drive and constantly charging, can down load new songs via wifi that way.

Thanks - I've now sorted the problem. Managed to find a lead I had already, (but thought wasn't the right one) and all is good.
