[Wanted] Old sat nav disk
Anyone got an old sat nav disk I could borrow or buy? Will pay postage. Long story short, brought a D3 hse over video viewing. Sat nav worked then but no reads not correct disk. Have checked and looks original but someone on forum said to try another before buying updated on. Thanks in advance

Big chance the alignment of the lens is out.
There seems a possibility to adjust it, but that needs to be done “in place” ..... as my flexibility is in a declining state after 50.. i skipped that option by buying another disk unit...
That worked well..... and then i bought an “updated” disk online... with recent maps...
What a mess... when maps ok... but postal codes were not in line.... impossible to navigate..wrong country’s under different country names , simply they were not correct assembled software wise...
So beware.... a tenner here, 50 quid there, maybe another 100 quid for another nav disk player, its plus, plus, plus before you know..
I Bought a D4 screen, happy with it, even with the older maps.....
When it gets really tough, i still have e fresh mapped TomTom The glove box... Best regards

I have a d4 screen on the way but assuming it’s irrelevant with the disk not reading. Is there another way to access than pulling seat forward?
Failing that, is there any way of getting CarPlay? I don’t want to lose the speaker/amp set up though

No not really, since you dont need a nav player under the chair, because it has a hard disk in it with the maps.
So why put any effort in the disc unit regarding nav disk? You do not need it...Best regards
