Engine rebuild complete
So engine has now been rebuilt, refitted and all is running nicely
I got away with the crank, very slight turning of two pairs of the big end shells, but crank ok
So new rods fitted there.
But look at those pistons.
Injector faults? then oil dilution causing the bottom end to bind?
208,000 miles by the way so can't complain.

Oh yes.
Not taking chances there, all 6 replaced.
They weren't cheap, but compared with the cost and time to rebuild an engine, just stick it on the tab1994 Defender 300tdi 110 commercial
