After a flurry of drifting videos manufacturers add a drift setting.
With the increase of 4x4 videos doing the grassy tug-of-war
how long before the terrain response gets a T-O-W. setting It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

I have watched a couple of those vids. I must say, landrovers usually win. It does show how good the terrain system is compared to others.
Steve. You remind me of a younger me, not much younger mind...perhaps even a little older!

As good as Terrain Response is, it can't beat three locked diffs for a straight tug of war, as seen by the Defender vs Jeep vs GWagen video by CarWow. THe Defender just got dragged backwards by the other two which both have three lockable diffs. It would be interesting to see how it performs with the optional active rear diff fitted. There's a G Wagen versus RRSport on Youtube (rather blingy versions of both) but the RRSport pulls the G Wagen every time. Rear diff and tyres maketh the victor in that one, despite the G Wagen's trickery... Jim

Exactly. The Defender is standard centre diff only. A locking rear diff would have made a huge difference. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
