What is the MY08 Spec?

I am new to the foru.

Could I ask what are the changes to the MY08 spec for Australia?

Also interested if anyone has fitted one of the new range of after market Sat nav/rear camera/etc double din units such as Solaris etc that are available these days.

Looks like it's taking a while for our Aussie friends to wake up......

FY08 sees 'rouched' leather & no rear aircon on HSE's Don't think there was much difference other than that from the MY07 ones.

There's a couple of recent buyers on the forum from Aus, so hopefully they'll post soon. And welcome tothe forum

Be aware though that the spec varies greatly sometimes depending on where in the world you are.

The LR web site should be up to date though, and so should your dealer.

Not sure of new specs. Check with a stealer would be the easy way to find out. I know the CANBUS system has changed (should sort some of the spurious faults as there are no modules piggybacked anymore)
They have also done somethiing to the spare wheel well as the Long Range tank won't fit the MY08.

Guys, we are picking up our MY08 SE tomorrow. When we were purchasing, the sales guys didnt mention anything about differences between the model years, but then they are just interested in the $#'s.

If there is anything in particular you want me to look at, just let me know.......

Also, the audio place (freeway car audio) who does the ULR/MLR cars is upgrading the speakers for me and putting in a bit of matting. So, contrary to some other threads I saw on here there are options for upgrading the stereo.......... Picked up my new MY08 Stornaway TDV6 SE late Feb. FULLY STOKED! Thanks in advance for all the advice/tips you guys have shared on here!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can only coment that the HSE 08 in Aus has electic lumbar, maintains rear air, woodgrain dash, fridge, leather remains unchanged, and thats about it

I can tell you that @#$ sinking driver's seat is still there

I have to pull the lever to raise it every 20 minutes or so. Must have pumped that lever a few hundred times since purchasing the car less than 2 months ago.

Oh, and the wipers still shudders and squeaks.

Dealer should fix both, make sure they replace with the new part No.

MY08 Spec

Our MY08 spec was delivered mid Oct. The dealer was not able to say what defferences ther were, but one obvious difference is the deletion of the button to disable the reversing sensors. Also I believe there is some difference in the stereo sytem, although nothing that can be seen. There does not appear to be any visual difference to anything else.
