The first question is what wiring does you car have in place at the moment as it seems to vary on the low end configurations.
I had an 07 GS (model up from yours) and it had the wiring in it for the heated seats but no switch gear. I bought a HVAC switch set for the dash that was with the switches in the middle of the left and right heat controls to turn the seats on and off but as it turned out, the seat pads I had had been glued to the leather seats as they were aftermarket leather seats and whoever did it didn't use hog rings on the covers, so I abandoned the idea of using the stuff I bought and never got round to doing it as I would have had to do a lot of work.
The connectors under the seats are different between the D3 and D4 so you will need to switch either the seats connectors to the D3 type or switch the cable connectors on the car to the ones on a D4.
Take a look on the Powerful UK YouTube channel for the D3 as they fit D3 heated electric seats to a lower spec D3 on there, the concept is the same, you just need to decide what you want to do with the connectors. Must stop buying shiny toys....

It depend what seats you bought. Do you know if they're memory or non-memory?

Shows the process to fit D3 electric seats in a car with manual ones, as I mentioned earlier the connectors for the D4 are different style so you will need to either covert the seat connectors or change the sockets on the car wiring as well as drop in the extra wiring needed. Must stop buying shiny toys....
