I note that they're going to use it to practice driving the rover off the skip and on to the lunar surface. Surely that's just a case of "ok, Bob, drive forward 5 feet", "done it", "well done everyone, back to mine for a party!"
How much practice does one need to drive forward in a straight line? Ah, these are Yanks we're talking about. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

That’s only half built, there are no doors at the sides doubling the capacity.

I'm pretty certain I saw an earlier prototype sitting on a neighbour's drive a few months ago Rob Smith

^^^^ that's terrain testing - they've still to do a council yard and a local park beauty spot/dogging carpark to complete their capability testingSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I thought the thing on my neighbour's drive was a prototype as the careful arrangement of the deposited material was so similar Rob Smith
