Hello,
Had a quick search but can’t seem to find it now, got my D4 a month ago and I’ve just updated the electrics to 13pin, however when it was connected to the van and put in reverse it still activated the reversing sensors. I seem to remember reading something about LED lights (which the van has) not registering the towing function and needing an additional part.
Have I gone crazy and imagined this or is it correct?
PS all the lights on the van worked fine no, strobing or failing

Did it do this with the 7 pin socket ? If not have you checked in the CCF file to see if the trailer function is enabled?
Otherwise have a look at this thread, you may need something similar..

Thank you for that link I was searching and going blind, afraid I never used the old electrics as I needed the 13 pin for my van.
