This happened today totally ramdom. I went to the local village shop got out and locked the car. Forgot my wallet back to car and unlocked and grabbed the wallet locked up went into shop and came out pressed the remote and no response tried 6/7 times nothing happened. Phoned the misses and she brought spare key. This also would not open the car. Decided to access through passenger door using the key, car open with alarm going off other doors would not open even with the dash button pressed. Opened bonnet to check battery then noticed all internal lights working and alarm going off. So decided to put the key in the ignition turned on with dash lights all normal and it fires up. All doors now unlock and both key fobs work as normal. rest of the day car has been out and about with no problems at all. Anybody had this same problem?D3 HSE

It could be caused by radio interference in the area where you parked the vehicle. The signal from key fob transmitters are not very strong and thus stronger radio transmissions in the area, may block their operation. The signal strength of a key fob can be increased by holding it against your head and thus using your body as an antenna.
