Where’s the advancement?
Reading road test in car mag. Three 1.0, 3 cylinder eco city cars with mild hybrid. Actual test economy 39-45mpg, road tax £175, car costs £17.6k-19.1k
I had multiple Peugeot 107’s (and the more modern 108 is similar) that I never saw less than 45mpg, tax cost £0-30 and they didn’t break five figures to buy.
Sure the current crop have more gadgets and gizmos and beat the 107 4 star NCAP but they still don’t sound like a technological leap forward to me

Car tax £175? I though the standard level, for cars under £40k, was £150?
