This might have been up to discussion before, but I couldn’t find a good answer
In my -05 D3 SE I have the mid-range stereo. But now it have stopped working. It seems dead in the display, except it lights up and show the clock. No sound or anything. It have been behaving strange the last couple of months. Sometimes working, sometimes not, sometimes the volume only could be adjusted on the steering wheel.
Anyone have any idea? -05 Disco3 TDV6 SE

Firstly try a hard reset - https://www.disco3.co.uk/wiki/Hard_Reset
Do you have an amp under the drivers seat, a bit silver box with fins on the top?
When I had similar problems it was the amp that was faulty, replaced that and all was good

You need to check the MOST fibre optics at the head unit, sat nav and the amp if a unit is not communicating the whole system doesnt work.
