Autologic just gets better!

As you probably know, Autologic units are capable of doing quite a few things the dealer kit (IDS) can't - such as enable cruise control, add front PDC, etc. and just about everything IDS can do...
BUT, there's a few bits that still are not possible.....
Although I have it on good authority that there will be more options available for programming the Disco3 / RRS, one of which will be retrofit of headlamp washers with full functionality (sorry Disconutter!) through the CJB 8) not sure of the other changes until I get my hands on the latest software, It's not possible to add or change options to anything on the MOST bus as programming these needs all modules to be updated, not something that Autologic could realistically see a ROI on given the amount of work needed to do this Crying or Very sad but what else would YOU like to see as an 'aftermarket programmable option' on Disco3?

No worries TFC - that's progress for you.
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I don't know if it is possible to have two truly different engine maps available, but a suggestion would be a proper choice of sports / economy mode which totally alters the engine tune for each setting.

I'd second that one...though I would see it as "Sports" mode and then "when it needs to be driven by the dealer" mode...

Would it be possible to enable the off-road functionality of the premium sat-nav, on the standard spec ?

Dunno... That's part of the 'Infotainment' system and therefore uses the MOST bus...
The sports / economy mode is an interesting one Wink

Can it program the dashboard to have a lights on indication (as in the new models), it looks like the indicator is there but doesn't do anything.

I was driving back from London on Monday in the rain and this guy kept flashing me and pointing at the car, in the end I pulled over onto hard shoulder to check for a puncture etc, but I think he was trying to say my lights weren't on. They normally come on with the wipers, but for some reason hadn't, but there is no way to tell from the dash.

Minor thing, but a pain in the Censored not to know when they are on or not.

This has been done by REVO who specialise in VAG engines, its called SPS, Serial Port Switching IIRC. So maybe its possible for the D3. TFC I'm not sure if they have some sort of patent on the SPS concept. PM me if you want the website info.

I assume the sports/economy mode would be selected on the auto by using the gearbox selection, i.e when you push the gear lever to the left, it engages sports gearbox settings and the sports engine map and the economy mode is when you are in normal auto drive.

That would be great.

We use Autologic / diagnos and they are a fantastic company and the customer service is second to none. Bl**dy expensive bit of kit though!
