| LR Extended Warranty Renewal - Lump Sum or Instalments |

So it's almost 12 months that we have had the Icemaiden, we received the renewal offer through from LR this morning.
As the original extended warranty we received when we purchased the car has more than paid for itself, I think I'll renew. The question is, should I pay in full or do the 10 month instalment thing? Does anyone have any knowledge, experience or opinion to which is the better option?
By paying instalments, does this limit cover in anyway? If I make a claim do I have to pay the balance of the policy there & then?
If I pay the lump sum up front, then sell the car after 6 months & haven't claimed on the warranty, is it easy to get a refund on the remaining "pro rata" value?
