Rear parking sensors - disabling one sensor

I read that 10for cash or somone (excuse my failing memory) had successfully "disabled" parking sensors simply by taping ove the sensor to stop reflections, and voila... and in fact - this mostly works for me too - but sometimes not - sometimes "it" can still "see" that I have the tow hitch and tregg coupling connected etc...

Is there another way of disabling a sensor? A computer setting that LE can do to tell it only 3 should be working, or a wiring cross-over?

cheers,

Simon

Black tac is your answer (had to blank one off for the spare wheel carrier)

what you need is butal rubber tape, this will compleatly kill all ultrasonic emmissions.

electrical coax seal or self amalgamating tape is the job.

See http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic18000.html thread to adjust rear PDC sensors after fitting accessories like tow bars, spare wheel carriers etc.
