To test the DVD player in my new (to me) car, I removed one DVD from a Norman Wisdom box-set. As I did so, I noticed a photograph tucked in the box but didn't take any notice of it. When I went to go to sleep that evening I found SWMBO with her arms folder and 'the death stare' activated, asking me why I had a hidden in a box of DVDs a photograph of a young girl with a baby, i.e., is it my baby? I have to say, it did appear really rather iffy and I have absolutely no idea who they are. I calmed things down by asking her how many other women are likely to find me attractive enough to want to have a child with me: good point, well made.
The box-set was at my parents holiday home for a while but they knew everyone who went there very well. Nobody in my family knows who these people are or where it was taken. The DVD played perfectly, though!

"When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die! You don't know who's children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"
I once acquired a laptop case from the heap at work, from when more senior bods upgraded and their rejects were up for grabs.
Years - possibly 10 years in fact - later, I was passing it on to one of the family and cleaned it out. stuck inside one of the storage pouches was a photograph and some airline tickets for the states.
The name on the ticket was one of the senior bods who spent a lot of time in the US, and the picture was of a young woman holding a baby ... I haven't sent the photo to him just in case it's of a secret family he had out there !
