Hi All,
Just joined and already after some help!
I have a 2010 L4. Just fitted a witter tow bar and now struggling with the electrics.
The wire coming out the socket was just a clean cut end. Was lead to believe that I needed a bypass relay. So I am now the proud owner of a ZR2500 Logicon towing interface. Anybody know if it’s needed &/or fitted one themselves? Haven’t found much by way of instruction videos. Wouldn’t mind having a go before admitting defeat and taking it to an auto electrician.

The electrics on a D4 (would help if you completed your profile ) are very simple plug and play connections to the wiring loom behind the panel on the near side in the boot. The genuine kit is about £100 from various online retailers and will save you hours in problem solving now and future wiring problems. I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
