I bought one!
It’s easy to fit and remove over the 2 pedals of my D4 Auto, easier than fitting the ‘Ardcase Pedal lock I had on my Series II, and it’s easier to store in the vehicle. I keep it in an old rucksack I used to use for carrying my work laptop about.
Any extra security which may deter the scumbags is a good thing in my book. I had the Series II for over 20 years, the ‘ardcase for about 10 years, and I don’t regret buying both pedal locks.
I found the 2 pedal lock easier than the ‘Ardcase as it’s lighter and less bulky, but still a reasonable deterrent for the price.I’m a Disco 4 believer. What a vehicle!

I bought one of these after seeing the post from Mr.Ted to use with the Stoplock. I had seen similar in the past but on a friend’s custom V8 Defender. Our postcode is SW15 so enough said regarding theft. My insurers would not entertain the Ghost2 possibly through ignorance but as my renewal is due next month I will try to send them pictures of mine fitted simply because I cannot see how any thief(ves) will get it off and leave the car fit to drive, not to mention the noise of cutting through the thick and heavy steel. Even if they go for the lock I doubt the pin could be released.
All this because of vanity locking. My previous XS did not have the silly touch locking so imagine the shock when I changed over the policy. From just over £400 to 2k!!
Got it down to £1250 with Direct Line mainly because of other current policies including my ebike for which I was able to send pics of the sn and locks etc. That’s why as mentioned above I hope to be able to send the photos of the pedal lock fitted.
All that apart, the big yellow steel box allows me the most peace of mind so far.
