[For Sale] D3 2004 SE Manual, Full history

I will sadly be selling my Discovery 3 this is down to just not using it.
It’s a 2.7d, manual SE model in Epsom green with cream interior.
Sat Nav, heated seats (drivers not working), heated screens, memory seats, HID’s, Harmon Kardon sound etc.
I do have a heritage certificate as this one is a job 1 build vehicle and beloved to be Testers of Edenbridges showroom vehicle.
Built October 2004 and registered mid Jan 2005.
The vehicle has covered just over 200000k and I bought it with 198k on,
It took me a while to find a really nice one that had good history and a non rattling engine.
I have been working on the 2.7d since 2004.
The Land Rover has full service history and was serviced in main dealer until 2016.
Still fitted with four very good Pirelli’s and a Goodyear spare full size.
Since purchasing the vehicle in September last year the filling work has been carried out, I have the invoices and photos.
1- Fresh MOT and AC re gas
2-Cambelt changed with aux drive belt. Incl pulleys and fan bearing
3- New modified oil pump
4- new water pump fitted
5-Major service, Engine, Gearbox, diffs, transfer box and all filters.
6-new HD lower arms
7-New Brembo front discs and pads
8- New Brembo rear pads
9- Four wheel alignment
10- Metal brake pipes from front to rear replaced
11- New alternator fitted with battery
I am sure I have forgot something all of this work was carried out 2k ago.
The paintwork is good and I would say the body work is good for its age and mileage.
It does have dents and the odd scrape but nothing to serious.
Interior is in good condition with the odd mark and wear signs.
It drives very well and doesn’t have all the trim rattles that most I have driven have.
Slight wheel wobble at 75mph but I imagine that is just wheel balance.
Just being totally honest with all known faults.
Wheels re balanced and much better. To add
I am happy to have the wheels balanced before the Land Rover goes to its new home.
The engine side of it, This starts first time and quickly in tthe winter.
Let the glow plug light go out a it fires very quickly, Doesn’t use oil and is not a rattly engine.
Returns 32mpg on a run with me with items in the back.
Does have a tow bar (detachable) with 13pin electrics.
Doesn’t look like it ever been used, Have tested the tow bar electrics all ok.
Load liner now put in rear also.

I will get some better images and more recent ones when I am next at the farm unit where it’s kept.
Viewing highly advised this is really a very well sorted D3.
The price I am looking for is around £3800ono.

Very smart, don't see many green D3's.
I always want to buy nice D3's when they appear for sale on here but as I already have a D2, D3 & D4 then I better look away now!Stu

I have that tendency it with larger vehicle types,
I strongly suspect this D3 of mine was used a showroom launch vehicle for Testers of Edenbridge as the build date is early and wasn’t registered for a good 2-3 months after.
It was dispatched to testers when built in October 04 wasn’t registered until middle of Jan 05.
Just a little more detail on this nice old D3

Hi Scott - I would be interested in this if the price was a bit lower as i would get it as a stop gap alongside my disco for my wife as her car goes back soon from a lease and we don't know what to buy yet.

Hi,
We bought the D3 last September and have only done 2k in it since then, so it’s not being used very much.
We done a lot of work on it as I done my apprenticeship on D3’s, Huge bonus when you own one.
Really would like it to go to a good home as it’s been looked after very well from new
