| Leds around terrain response rotary knob not working |

Hello, everyone! I am a new and (so far) very happy owner of a beautiful Disco 3. When i bought it i checked the TR system and it works. But the leds around the knob don’t. So, before i do anything stupid and start tearing appart the central console, i thought i’d ask what could be the cause of such herratic behavior from a car that’s known to have very reliable electronics, and if there’s an easy fix to it. I tried searching for an answer, but... Thank you in advance for the advice!

Welcome to the mad house !
Very common fault, you need to replace the whole selector part but these can be found on ebay for a reasonable price. It was a technical service bulletin for LR dealers I think but you certainly don't want to be paying their prices unless you have a very good warranty.

its the other knob 
Do they light up orange when selected? (and engine running)
So only the green illumination has failed ?
I wouldn't worry about it!
