Rear Wiper
Well the time has come for me to change the rear wiper on my D3, I changed the front ones with 'Valeo Silencio', I have been out and measured it (16"), however the fitting looks different from the front. Has anyone used these on the back if so what do I need to oerder, or if not what do you recommend I fit as a replacement.2010/60 Discovery 4 XS Zermatt Silver - Privacy Glass, Timed Climate (with remote), Voice, 4x4 screen, Bong on lock/un-lock (Pete BellAutos)

Rear Wiper
Mine's past it's best and in need of replacement too so watching for recommendations with interest
Just replaced ours with one from LR Yeovil and no complaints - same can be said for the second set of fronts I also got from Nick early December, again no complaints and that's after 3K miles. I think LR's mods have worked LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
Nick (The Large One) advised that most rear wiper problems are down to the linkage/spring getting full of muck. One of the few places where a squirt or two of WD40 is a good thing.
So yup, get a new blade from Nick, then some WD40 and you're away I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I'm embarassed to ask this as it should be such a simple job and I've changed many wipers in my time!
Went to change my rear wiper today and couldn't unclip the old one. Used a flat screwdriver to push down on the underside catch/clip but no joy - is there a knack to this on the D3?

A 4 euro wiper fitted in 5 minutes... It just has to be the right length...
Adara, looks like you need to tidy the boot, loads of gravel, ladders and stuff in there. . . ."To finish first, one first has to finish ...."
