in the hidden winch club!
so had a visit earlier in the week from Sir 10forcash who spent the whole long day in the howling wind and rain doing a top job in fitting my EP9 into the front of the D3 using one of RLD's magic winchtrays and installing a second battery/split charge setup as well Have hopefully solved the number plate fitting issue (well this is the first attempt that will get refined a bit)
I see no winch??

just need to find a way of holding the number plate assembly up without a bungy cord

a whole heap of extra work and sweary moments were required to ensure the A-bar could be re-fitted

yes, went and purchased some of B&Q's finest ally lengths right-angled, straight etc fiddled about a bit and it's not the prettiest but works (ish) I'm going to try and strengthen it a bit I think, I might even add a length of string to it so it can be flipped up when required and theeeeennn......???

thread the string right through to the dashboard - you can then flip it up as you go through specs speed cameras with impunity Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
