Coolant leak from the rear of my discovery 3
Hi everyone.
I wonder if anyone has had the same issue or any ideas on my problem please. My Discovery 3 is leaking coolant from the rear of the car, it seems around the spare wheel area. At first I thought it was from the AC or something then today it started over heating. Also I notice it's worse when the heater is working. Does anyone have any idea where I may start looking please.

Do you have a rear heater? Easily distinguished by having a air conditioning/heater control in the ceiling on the second row?

If you remove the spare wheel you an access the rear heater hoses. Which is probably where the leak is situated.

Mine was leaking from the hoses where they connect to the rear heater, pig of a job/location to get to. Basically it's behind the wheel arch and up. you can also just about get to it from inside the car.
There is also a kit you can get to blank it all off.
