leather seats
if i get the seats out of a hse 05 that are fully electric.
do i need anything special my drivers seat is electric hight ajustable and heated front and rear.
All the control modules are in the seat base, so as long as you have power to the seat you are good to go.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I thinks a bit more than plug and play, as the seats link into the lazy entry so seat mirrors and steering wheel adjust. Even if you don’t use that bit there may be some switching on with an IID involved? There’s a couple of threads on the forum around seat conversion, if I can find I’ll post2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

Oh god. Here we go
A lot of people who fit HSE drivers seat don't get them working correctly
They press the switch, it moves a cm and stops.
Let go of the switch, press it again, moves another cm
And the memory doesn't work.
I think the problem is that they don't connect up the red LIN wire
If yours are already heated. ignore the below.
Regarding the heating. Each seat needs 4 wires. (heater and sensor)
Your car probably only has 2 of them fitted.
As ever, you may need a CCF edit

Yeah lots of wires was going to get the two front door looms for the extra speakers and possibly folding mirrors.
But someone said mine probably has the speaker and mirror looms fitted as it was on the options list and with it having the better blue tooth phone.

Passenger wiring isn’t very different (if at all) (from vague memory)
Do the HSE seats have an extra switch (like a Ford electric window switch?)

Not sure drivers side memory seat.
Think the passenger seat is all electric no memory.
My drivers seat has that button to raise the seat.

The driver's side does, for the lumbar support. Can't remember if HSE's had it from the start or if it came in with the nicer leather in 2007/8. It does look a bit of an afterthought!
