D4 2010 xs to hse ice

Evening all.

I'm looking at potentially purchasing a D4 2010 xs that has sat nav and bluetooth, but does not have reverse camera and dab.

The latter are two things I would like, however it's not a deal breaker, as the overall mechanical condition of the car is more important to me, but I would very much like the bells and whistles that normally comes with a HSE.

So the question is can I add dab and reverse camera to the xs setup,? I'm aware of the secret menu reverse camera as I retro fit this to a previous d3 se I used to have.

Any advise on this much appreciated. Cheers Roger

A reverse camera can be fitted as can DAB through a GVIF and a tv and rear entertainment, DAB can be a disappointment depending where you are located it is not as good as fm in cities as you can lose the signal when near high buildings, you don’t with fm.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I will have to double check if it has dab, but the current owner says no camera.

It would be nice if it seamlessly integrates with the computer, I. E, activates when you select reverse gear. I know this wasn't the case how I had it setup in my old D3.

Is the DVIF unit required to make it work when selecting reverse?

I have a late 2010 xs and have dab but then it’s got lot of extras so don’t know if it’s standard.

The car may well have dab then, out of the two, I think the reverse camera would be most desirable, I do a fair bit of towing, so it would make hitching up lots easier 👌
