Help - what fuse for rear fogs D4 MY2010? |
|
As per the title, my rear fogs aren't working and on inspecting the manual I find no mention of a fuse for the rear fogs. Also not mentioned in the model year 16 manual???
EDIT:
Ok, partly solved, reason why the fogs weren't working was I had the trailer plugged in to test the new fog lamp on the trailer and didn't realise the vehicle fog lights got disabled when it senses a trailer's pluged in . Tracked it down to an issue with the plug so far - new plug being purchased tomorrow.
But the question still remains, which fuse for rear fog lamps? LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Hi,
according to the circuit diagram for MY11, the rear fog lamps are not protected by individual fuses. Instead, they are controlled by FET transistors located on the central-junction-box which provide short-circuit as well as overload protection. The input side of these FETs as well as the FETs for the main- and dip-beam and some other stuff are protected by the link-fuse 15E (40A) located in the junction-box located next to the battery.

Hello,
long time ago here, but I have the same prob here with my D4 from 2010.
Dash light goes on for rear fog lights, but the fog lights not.
Can I swap these FETs individually?
Best Regards,
Thomas
