Bms location (brown/blue bms power wire route)

Does anyone know where abouts is the bms located? The brown blue and brown wire connected to the positive battery terminal has been pulled aggressively and snapped the wire on my vehicle causing a charging fault. I cannot find the other end to repair, pulled out the battery and fuse relay box and no sign of the other end, even removed the tape off the loom and separated all the wires.. Also two severed wires (green/red trace, and black) that I presume are the transport connector which are not needed. Also i have noticed two prongs on the negative battery clamp which also looks to have had a connector/wires attached (which I assume is the earth feed to the bms). I bought this as a stolen recovered vehicle and looks like the thieves have pulled the wires thinking they were a tracking device as when I received the vehicle all the relays and fuses had been removed next to the battery. Any help appreciated.

Hi,
This is the BMS that is installed at the negative terminal of the battery.

Does this have a fuse inside? Do I assume too that to test it I would check the resistance between the battery terminal and the copper strip on the BMS and it should ber zero?
thanks

No, there is no fuse inside, but an electronic circuit. The copper strip is a well defined but very low resistor. The current flowing causes a voltage drop across this resistor, which is measured by the electronic. Using Ohms law the current can be calculated and the value is be used to control the generator power according the charging/discharging algorithms. You can test it with a tool like the IIDTool. F. E. by looking at the live values battery current and battery voltage.
