Forensic oil change.
So done oil and filter change today, drained the oil through a fine gauze, all clear then cut the filter apart, no signs of any white metal fragments then ran a magnetic and all good.
Fuel filter changed without a hitch, rust proofed parts of the chassis before putting the gearbox cover back on only bad news is the front diff drivers side half shaft seal still leaking and prop shaft seal weeping😬
Anyway at least I know my engines okay 👍🤞🤞Steve

make sure the front diff breaker mod has been done.
It's by the coolant tank. The pipe should have a right angle end, if modified

Thanks guys, the front diff breather was previously blocked and I’d done the mod before I replaced the seals. Think I’ll just keep an eye on the fluid level? it doesn’t leave too bigger patch on the drive😀
Reason for the investigation is my TC’s getting noisy (rasping noise under load over 2k rpm and then sometimes on over run) and 4/5th gear errors when towing my van which is only once a year at the moment so considering a transmission rebuild 😳Steve

Breaker?=Breather.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
