| Anderson connectors. Putting a circuit breaker in |

Good morning. I'm having Anderson connectors fitted to my range rover sport HSE. I know that you're thinking. I'm on the wrong site. No I'm disabled with a spinal cord injury and got throat cancer.
Just been told to place a 250 amps circuit breaker in with the leads going to the battery. Is this correct. Thankyou very much for all of your time today today.

Some sort of overload protection would be wise to prevent winch destroying itself and taking the battery with it. I use a 100 amp replaceable fuse. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Is this on the Anderson connectors to the battery. For jumpstarting the car.

It is on the supply to the Anderson connector on the front grille. I can use it for the removable winch, jump leads, or to power other 12v equipment. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Is it your telling me to place an Anderson connector to the 100 amps circuit breaker the that to the battery.

I use a fuse link as it can easily be changed to different value should that be needed. Battery to one side of fuse, other side of fuse to Anderson. All with as thick a cable as you can easily obtain. Some people suggest welding cable. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. We have 35mm cable red and black. Then 2 175 Anderson connectors gray. So we need 2 ring connectors for live and earth on the battery.
Then get a fuse holder, instead of a circuit breaker. Then connection them to the Anderson fittings.
Is this correct. It's only for charging and jumping starting as I'm a regular with the RAC man at the hospital. I always take him a coffee out . After treatment's and appointments. It starts some times but not other. Changed the battery and alternator. It's because we are not using it as much . What size fuse and carrier should I get please.
